Hi. I love to sew and I love to make my things unique. A few years ago I took up machine embroidery and have been learning to digitize my own designs. Love seeing what others have done with their clothes.

I used to embellish more, our RR group has taken a bit of a turn to block projects now which open a new area of fun and challenges. I sent an email to you through your website.

I've altered jeans, shirts, and other clothing for children, but would like to work with adult wearables.

Hi! Does Sewing World still exist? I sort of stopped with alot of lists/ groups when I started doing my city and guilds:fashion about 6 years ago.

I'd be interested in your monthly challenge, but not at present, as I am doing quite a few already this year.

have you seen the site called Wardrobe Refashion? http://nikkishell.typepad.com/wardroberefashion/ some of the people altering clothes there are beginners, but they are coming up with some fun stuff and learning to sew at the same time.

I expect alot of people, expecially in the US are busy with summer stuff. prehaps we will get more on board when they get back to a regular routine.

What sorts of wearable art do you do? (maybe this is a good discussion topic, and it will bring people out of the woodwork?

Hi Sandy, Glad to see you, I remember you and your beautiful work from Sewing World.

As far as knowing how everything works, I don't have a clue and no one will tell me! I love wearable arts and thought this would be a good way to share ideas and help each other. It hasn't worked out that way.
