Is there anybody still out there wanting to keep the UFO group going?

Is there anybody still wanting to keep the UFO group going?  I ask as I don't see many people putting up any threads or photos etc.

I have been finishing and telling you all about what I have been up to but if there isn't any answers to my question then I will be leaving this group!

Thanks for reading and/or answering my question, Fiona A

Fiona.  I don't mind one way or the other.  The reason I haven't put much on the group website is that I haven't finished very much over the past year.  As the whole idea of this group is to put details of those things we are at last finishing, there isn't really much point in putting a comment in when you have nothing to report.  I wonder if anyone has finished anything within, say, the last month?  This time of the year is really busy and most people are working on new items to give as presents.

Grace, I just feel that maybe I've got passed using this group to motivate me to get UFO's finished when I seem to be the only one putting anything up.  I'm not trying to be bitchy just honest in the way I feel.  Maybe I'll just hibernate for a while and see what happens!  LOL

A good idea Fiona.  If you feel like you need to discuss this or anything join my friends and we can compare notes.  I will try to invite you.  Grace

I am working on one of my oldest UFOs which is called "Dawn Tuskers" by Tom Taylor.  I am hoping to finish this before the end of February.   So far, I have 3 more elephants to stitch.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished Cross Stitch.  Elephants have always a fascination for me they are so majestic!  Happy Stitching!

I hope we're not supposed to only post details of finishes.  I really enjoy seeing "in progress" photos, especially if I later get to see the completed object.  Just my two cents.  Susan in Texas

maybe we need to come up with some suggestions on how to motivate and finish ufo's

Hi Susan & Merrilyn,  I have been really slack in not taking the in progress photos!  sorry, I will have to take some photos of the UFO's that I have finished.

Merrilyn, for me, my motivation is having an conditional agreement on our house, which means that I have to get some of my UFO's finished otherwise they will be packed away again until---(?)  LOL

Motivation, what about a points system, you get 10 points if you finish a UFO in 1 (one) month.  5 points if it takes 2 months. Photos of the unfinished item and the finished item.

Just my 2 cents worth!!   ;~)
