I will start our 2nd cycle today and hope we all will have more luck with our projects than last cycle ;-)

I will just plan on something small so hopefully I will have a finish project by the end of this month.

I make this very short since I am sick and hear my bed calling for me very loud . . . . .

Happy stitching

I have not yet gotten to my UFO "declared" last month . . . but I have not given up! "Funny Little Things" describes my project perfectly, so perhaps this will be the right time to finish it. Well, one can hope! To refresh everyone's memory, my project is a pair of stuffed piggies from a McCall's pattern.
I have leftovers too, and as I am opening both house (decorated for Christmas) and garden at the end of the month, I am not looking for anything to add to the list!
So here's my leftovers!
(I did have to find pre-made decorations to hang on one of the Christmas panels, but have done that since the new month arrived. I think that deserves a drumroll!)
Find two dowells to fit both Christmas panels, make cords to hang them with (not to mention a nail to hang them from)
......... and put the bear together! Or at least do something to get him on the way to finished!
The two Christmas panels were both hanging for the weekend, and will hang until after Christmas now, and I think I know where to find the pieces of the bears in my Oh! so neat sewing room, so here's hoping he will get himself together in the next couple of days.
Nearly made it, but it's only the first day of November, so not really very late. Now I have to find a spot to take a photo. I also have to find another name, as he is not near as chubby as I wanted him to be, though not skinny enough to be Skinny Mick. Any suggestions gratefully received, though it will be easier after I get the photo up!

Judy this is such a cute bear !
He looks a bit serious, like his name is Kurt or maybe better Curt so you could call him CC for cute Curt ;-)))
Ellie,
He is sort of cute, and CC sounds good. Has a nice ring to it!
His ears are crooked, his nose is so bad it turned out to be just right, head is out of shape, the fur is too short and his body is too small. (Wish I had that last problem personally!) The term 'only a mother could love him' sprang to mind when I went looking for something for a bow, and this mother is a typical mother despite all his faults.
He certainly didn't turn out like I intended him to, but decided there were so many things wrong I would go ahead and put him together anyway, and alter the pattern and start another bear.
Now, what is the next UFO to be finished?
Oooh, so much wrong but so cute. So much wrong sounds like me but the cute???? The mother in me would love him to pieces too. Welcome to this mad world CC. Just know you will be much loved.

I did it! I have finally finished a UFO! And it does fit into the "funny little things" theme pretty well. Here is a small picture and you can go to my blog to see more about this project. Feels pretty good to finish this and I think I'm ready to dig out another one!
Funny looking pigs, but I love them!
Pretty little things ! I like the pink bow and the hat, that makes it special ;-)
