September ATC exchange

I don't usually open the discussion for the next swap until the end of the month, but there are so many requests to go in the September swap, I thought I'd better open the discussion early, otherwise people will miss seeing it. Cobi has suggested Magic Mushrooms as the theme as most of you know. A few members have asked on various other forums here, to have their name included, but as I have said before, you must post a message under the actual Discussion to be included, as it is just too time consuming to go looking for participants in other forums or discussions.

When I post the list of pairs, I leave it to each person to contact each other. I used to collect all the names and addresses, and email them to people individually, but that got out of hand as more and more people joined Cross Stitchin Fingers!!

I thought I would post this message from Cobi, just in case any of you were also curious about the "magic mushroom" theme. :) It did help clarify things for me and the entire conversation can be found in the August ATC discussion.

yes I know it is used as a term for a drug. in my country they're called 'paddo's'. but to me magic mushroom describes a toadstool. it has a magical appeal. we have a toadstool with a name that can be translated as "fairy stool". sounds magical to me. so with this subject I think of mushrooms/toadstools just as they are but if you like you can add a fairy or a pixy or give them irrealistic colors. make them magical, ignore the illegal part.
