Whoever is volunteering to lead the swap for the month usually suggests a theme or there is a discussion of a possible theme. A swap list is posted by the middle of the month. You receive an ATC from another person than the one you send to. You make the ATC according to the theme. It must be 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches in size & the front should be fabric, with any additions, stitching & embellishments you like. This group doesn't swap paper ATCs. Your backing can be either sturdy paper or fabric, your choice. You go to the page of the person you're sending to & send a private message asking for her address & mail out the card. That's it. I hope this explains everything. If not, please feel free to ask.

Looking forward to taking part in my first swap! What date are we supposed to send our cards by?
thanks
Permalink Reply by Jeannette on June 10, 2011 at 14:12 Hi Amanda,
As far as I know, it's not set in stone at all when we get our atc's mailed out. I think most of us just try to get them in the mail by the end of the month or sooner of course if we're finished.
Happy stitching!

Permalink Reply by Kim Stapleton on June 12, 2011 at 3:15 Hi, I may have to drop out of the June swap as I am still having problems sending messages. My settings are ok so I am not sure what is wrong.
As you can see I can add comments and answer friend requests but as I am unable to send my details through a message to an ATC partner. I would like to carry on but this problem is becoming a hinderance to taking part in swaps.
Any ideas would be welcome.
Permalink Reply by Jeannette on June 12, 2011 at 21:38 Hi Kim,
IU am still having problems too!
I am using my partners computer now which sees to be fine. I am going to take mine to a repair shop and see if they can help. I will let you know how I get on. It is so annoying just not being able to click a button!!!
Michele.
