I also recently came back from holidays and trying to clear backlog.

I remember Sharon saying never heard from Donetta and the earlier birthday gals never received anything so far. So we are taking she is out.

My ATC for Kalona is late but it will go out in the mail on Monday. Think I don't remember reading what Kalona likes so I tried something I hardly do!

High Ladies I have got in contact with Donetta today

she is keen to get back into the swap

I think she had just lost contact with us all.....I know how she feels I have been out of the loop too

I have some ATC's here and more to catch up....I'm very sorry But sometimes the real world , business and  Family just has to come first.....I have given Donetta the list and asked her to let me know if she wishes to catch up and continue ....So stay tuned hopefully I will have an answer shortly Regards Sharon

My word, doesn't time fly without you noticing... sorry, I've been caught up with getting better, and although I've been doing all my swaps I've been spending ALOT less time online, good thing really!

I've been reading through posts trying to catch up, has everyone had their card from me? Possibly not Donnetta yet as it takes awhile to get over from the UK, but everyone else has been duly sent in order.

I got my first card yesterday from Marga, thankyou so much, both the card and birdie are so sweet, I will post a pic as soon as I've taken one, everyone should get a peek at them!!

Dear ladies, I have been a terrible group member, and want to apologize from the bottom of my heart.  I don't know what happened, exactly...I retired from work in January, and am currently in the process of moving from my home of 20 years to an apartment, and somehow my memory and thought processes have been affected adversely by all of this change, which is actually GOOD change.  I forgot about our birthday swaps, haven't logged on to Stitchin Fingers in ages, and it was a lovely surprise to receive a beautiful ATC and sweet extra gift from Marja on my birthday.  This was followed by a lovely email from Sharon, asking if I was still interested, or...perhaps not.

Of course I am still interested, if you'll still have me.  I promise to create little pieces of birthday beauty for everyone I've missed this year, and will not forget again.  I do apologize...I wish I had something better to offer in the way of an apology (won the lottery, moved to a south Pacific island, etc.), but instead all I have to offer in the way of an explanation is that I don't know what happened with my memory and my "oomph" (sadly, pretty much missing as well), and to promise that I do indeed want to be part of this lovely community again, and will work hard to be a better friend and group member.

Thank you all for being such special ladies.

I posted a thank you to Marja and Eileen somewhere...probably the main forum again...honestly, I'm feeling like a nit-wit!  Each ATC is beautiful, very intricate, and deeply appreciated.  I can't thank you enough for being kind enough to allow me back into the group, and will begin catching up (from the first of the year until now) as soon as I get moved and have my sewing and craft supplies unpacked. I will post as I send the ATCs.

Second attempt at posting.. it's not playing ball tonight!!

As promised, my pics of cards received so far....

These are from Ellen, Eileen, Tahlia and Marja...

Aren't these all absolutely gorgeous!! Marja's moon and cute little bird are so scrummy, as is Eileen's abstract felting- love felting, so warm and textural, Tahlia's  super tatted flowers and needlepoint are wonderful, and I love Ellen's tiny tatted butterflies and crocheted flowers. All very much appreciated... can't wait to get them all together so I can plan the wall hanging to display them.

Many thanks to all for the extra goodies too, they will be used soon in the display hanging!

Ellen- please do a tutorial for those butterflies- I don't tatt but would love to be able to do these!!

Your atc's look lovely.  Thanks for posting the pictures.  I'm trying to teach myself how to tat and also would like to learn how to make those nice butterflies!

A gorgeous, vibrantly colored ATC arrived from Kalona today!  It's so pretty...so many different fibers and textures...I love it so much!  Thank you, Kalona.  Moving day for me is in two days, and as soon as my craft room is unpacked I will begin the pleasurable task of creating birthday ATCs for everyone I've missed.  XXOO to all!
