Kalona also included some really pretty papers and butterflies.
Thank you.

Her ATC was a beautifully decorated house or rather a "home".
There was a lovely bird that I had noticed in other birthdays and some Dutch fabric.
Can we have a "Country ATC" one day?
Thank you Marja.

I have always loved crazy patchwork and the hand embroidery is so pretty.
It's amazing to think how far these ATC's have travelled.
I feel really lucky to have been included in this swap.
Thank you

It's a little treasure.
Thank you for the explanation about where each piece came from.
There is a lot of meaning in your ATC and it is put together so well.
It's fascinating.
The birthday card is lovely too. Thank you
That is as far as I have got.
I really appreciate all the thought and the work that has gone into making these ATC's.
Thank you.

I apologize for being so quiet lately, and for being a little late with a couple of the birthday ATCs! My family has been in a bit of a tizzy since just after Easter when my one remaining grandmother (age 98) fell and broke her hip. She had surgery for repair, but then caught a bout of pneumonia and is now recovering from that as well. It's been exhausting for all of us, and the time spent driving back and forth to see her, etc has chipped away at my social time, internet time, and stitching time!
Anyway, Judith's, Eileen's, and Linda's ATCs are all in the mail and should reach their destinations before too long!
(( Susan, I would send you an ATC, too, but somehow I ended up not having your postal address! I don't know why I don't have it, but I have looked everywhere and I just don't have it anywhere. I tried sending a private note to you and to Sharon a while back but I don't seem to have received a response. ...and then things got busy. If you want to send me your address somehow, I'd be glad to send you an ATC! ))
It is really wonderful to see photos of all the wonderful ATCs people have been sending! My goodness what a talented group we have here!
Permalink Reply by Eileen Carkett on May 15, 2012 at 18:35 Thank you, Tahlia, for a lovely ATC, a butterfly card and a bit of inspiration.
"To imagine is everything".
I hope your grandmother is feeling better.
It's always a shock when an adult has a fall.
I have attached a photo of your ATC...a crazy patchwork that I will treasure.
Thank you.
Eileen

Permalink Reply by Tahlia on June 12, 2012 at 23:22 It's been such a month!! Susan, I finally got an ATC in the mail for you! Thank you for giving me your address. :)
My grandmother is still chugging along! slightly slower than she was before, but still in good spirits. I treasure every moment I get to spend with her!
Next up-- ATCs for Donetta and Kalona. I'd better get started on them right away if I want the mail to deliver them on time!
