I just found them but am anxious to print them out and get started. We just moved so all of my supplies are still buried and the printer isn't hooked up yet. Hopefully we'll be pretty organized by the end of next week. :)
I downloaded it yesterday and will print it as soon as I get a new printer. I think the format of them are great. lots of room to add things. Thanks for thinking of us.
Hi Sharon. I have just downloaded and printed this. I have printed it double sided. I haven't yet taken it off the printer but I am keen to start making a file. This is just the thing I needed. Thanks for your generosity. I am looking forward to purchasing the rest. Cheerio for now. Lindy

I am hoping to begin this weekend. Got them printed off and ready to start. Could I suggest something Sharon for the next ones? I have Carole Samples templates, and also another set of templates, can't remember the name right now, but I plan on using these templates for a lot of the stitches and was wondering if you could add like Template used or something like that for those who want to keep note of what template they used to make that stitch.
Well, I printed out the 6 most important pages on cardstock (can't deal with all those other blank pages just yet...). I pulled out some cross stitch Aida cloth and began to backstitch in a gold thread around the edge to define the space. Then I pulled out some crazy wild dyed stuff and outlined a number one and then added some verticals and the thread is just too big and kinky and the whole thing is too boring for photos. So I'm still thinking on this whole sample thing. I had a thought last night before falling asleep - my best time for good ideas - I'm surprised I remember this one. I could do a single motif through the whole book... maybe leaves. They come in all shapes, all colors. Could be more interesting than a blank fabric. Or I could just cut up some of my deconstructed screen printed fabric and use that. Blank fabric just doesn't do it for me.

I think I need some Transdoodle (shopping always gets me in the mood to make something new). Anybody try it for putting embroidery designs on blank fabric? I'm not affiliated, but I like that they sponsor this site.
Diane, I have never heard of transdoodle,,what is it?
Thelma transdoodle is great for transfering a pattern to fabric - It works a bit like dress makers carbon. Long before they helped sponsor this site I wrote a review and quick tut on how to use it on my blog here (just follow the link)
Hi Thelma
I had assumed that anyone using crazy quilting templates could simply trace it out on the grid page or incorporate it in the sample notes.
Perhaps I am not understanding you what is it you want?

I guess my mind was in another place when I made that suggestion. LOL! That's the perfect place to add the templates used.
