Sure, I would be interested in swapping fabrics with you. :) I'm working on a couple of charm quilts myself. I don't have a lot of kids' fabrics, but I do have a decent selection of other novelty-type. Am I correct in assuming you're hoping for large motif so that the I-Spy game will be easier?

You should be able to click on the word "blog" in the above post (it doesn't seem to be showing in a different colour here) or otherwise the relevant post is http://mermaidspurse.blogspot.com/2011/02/i-spy-quilt-squares-swap-... showing some of the fabrics that I'll be using (a mix of fussy cut bigger prints and smaller all over prints). I'd love to do a swap if you'd like to and do have other, more traditional, patchwork/quilting fabrics if you'd prefer some squares in a particular colourway or something.
Permalink Reply by Tahlia on February 8, 2011 at 22:37 Sweet! Yes, your blog link works. Now that I look closer, I see that the word "blog" is even in a slightly larger typeface, and when I hover over it, the cursor changes shape.
I have lots of fun fabrics that I think would make you smile and would fit in with the type of "novelty" prints I see in your blog pics, so I will send you a private message to exchange postal addresses!
I am not picky about color or type of print for my half of the exchange.... though if you happen to have anything with peacocks on it, I would be most delighted! Or cats, frogs, bugs (for the frogs to eat), black-and-white prints, sewing theme images...aw, heck. let's just say I'm not picky. The charm quilt that I'm working on is going to have fabrics that date back all the way into my grandmother's day. (I got lucky and inherited her quilting scraps!)

Permalink Reply by Shelley on March 25, 2012 at 7:42 Grace, an I-Spy quilt is a quilt made from patches of lots of different pictorial fabrics so young children can play the I-Spy game/adding some interest/play value to a childs quilt ......... here is a link to my first one.
Cat, I will reply to your message later on today - thankyou.
