I was hoping for a place to learn from but it looks like there isn't much going on here. Is it because of the holidays? Anyways here I am and hope to learn and share all things felted.

love your piece "true colours" The stitching really adds interest. I think of it

as eye candy . You keep looking and seeing something new.

It's a beautiful piece, Barbara. I can make backgrounds and I can embroider but I have trouble working out how to work interesting embroidery onto an interesting background like you've done with 'True colours'. Something for me to work on.

Beautiful work, Barbara. I have had a busy year and haven't been doing much of anything until the last few weeks. I get frustrated by embellishing but keep going back to it because of the beautiful textures and colour blending that I can't get any other way. I am currently working on a large piece, which I will cut into two to make cushions and I'm also doing some hand embroidery onto another piece I made some months ago. No photos of either yet. I must work out how to post photos onto Flickr.

Well I guess there still isn't anything going on here. I spent a day playing around with my machine but not very happy with the results so far.
