I've joined this group as I make knitted lace.  Does anyone else do that here?  Currently, I'm almost finished Herbert Niebling's Frosted Ferns but I ran out of the yarn for the cast off and have had to order some more.

I have only just started to do knitted lace. I am only doing edgings at the moment.
I am new to lace knitting. It's beautiful. Did you read the article about Herbert Niebling's lace in Piecework ..phew he is just amazing.
Please post a photo of frosted ferns when you have it finished. I'd love to see it. I have often drooled over photos of fern and leaf patterns in my "dictionaries of knitting" booklets, but have never tried anything that complicated. But I do enjoy seeing it.
Thanks for the replies, ladies. :-) Elizabeth, edgings are a great way to start. Shiri, yes, I have a subscription to Piecework and I have knitted the Niebling Inspired Bag in that issue. It's just waiting for me to line it. Lorelei, I will post a pic of Frosted Ferns soon as the yarn I've been waiting for came in the post today so I can finish it now.
I've now finished Frosted Ferns and added a pic.
