Morning all thought I would share with you after spending two weeks at JEC Centre in Atlanta Georgia doing Japanese Beading meeting a lot of new friends, I have attached the link so you can see us all having fun in class, link to some pictures http://www.facebook.com/sue.noble.3363#!/photo.php?fbid=25579958785... then spending 2 days with a great friend and teacher doing Japanese embroidery , stitching my Phase VII Final dress up http://www.japanese-embroidery.co.uk/Phases_6-10.php?pr=Phases_6-10... and looking at loads of goodies from design to fabric. I am home and can't wait to stitch but which do I do first embroidery? or beading? Any ideas?? Sue

Comment by Carol-Anne on April 30, 2012 at 16:07 Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that a new Yahoo group for Traditional Japanese Embroidery has been formed. I understand that the moderator for the previous group let it slide for whatever reason and that there was very little activity recently. The new group has four moderators so if one is not available the others should be able to keep things going. Files and photos from the previous group have been moved across. The new group is not sponsored by the Japanese Embroidery Center, we they the JEC in Atlanta and Kurenai Kai in Japan.
