putting photos on

Can anyone advise how to add photos to the hardanger group, I put mine on the main board and have an album with them in but do not understand how to add them to our group.  Think it would be amazing if all hardanger photos were all in one place to oggle over. Thankyou

Margaret, if you go to the main page for Stitchin Fingers, in the upper right hand corner there is a search box. If you type in hardanger, you will get about 155 pages of hardanger. Not all are pictures, some are posts from the group and posts that comment on the pictures, but it is all there in one place. I had a lot of fun looking at about a third of them-that is all the further I have gotten so far!

thanks Cindy,great to see the pics. Presumably I can do that with all the groups will try in a minute.Not enougth time to see them all today but something to look forward to I also want to know how you put photos there, I see I did it once but have slept since then

Margaret, when you upload a photo to Stitchin Fingers, be sure to put "hardanger" in the tags, or whatever other type of embroidery you might have. Then when people search for hardanger, it brings up all the photos with those tags on them. Very simple. So don't forget to tag your photos.

Cindy is right.  There is no capability for the HARDANGER GROUP to have a picture section.  But as Cindy says giving every Hardanger piece a Hardanger tag will work with search.  There is also a search slot that works just on the PHOTOS.  But it looks at the tags, titles and descriptions given to photos.  The photo search slot is on the left, just above the most recently added photos.

I just tried it.  There are 493 hardanger photos = 25 pages of photos.

You can always add a photo to a message on the Hardanger group, but they are right there is no photo album on the group itself.  To add a photo to a message here is how:  There is a button on the toolbar of the message box.  It's the second button from the left.  Click on that and then browse through your images on your computer until you find the picture you want to upload and then click upload.  I hope this helps.
