I read that some of you like to swap book pages.

We can write some guidelines in regards to size, theme, when and how to do it and how many pages we want to swap.

I would prefer to swap 10x10 inch (25x25 cm) pages.

What do you think about building a group of 8 to 10. Or do you think a monthly swap where new members can join would be better?

Thanks, Trillian for the time you're putting into this swap. The 15th is fine with me too. My theme is trees.

Hallo Trillian, is it possible for me to still join the book swap? I have been off line for a few days. Am moving house the 30th of January and will be online from the 1st of Febuary again.
If i can still participate my theme would be "favourite poem or saying" I would like my book to be in pale colours of green, rose, blue and lilac. Is it possible? thanks, H

Trillian,

are we starting to work on the 15th? or posting?

I know you are putting in a lot of work for us and it is appreciated, but it will soon be too late to get started for posting on the 15th.

Anyway. I'm just a worrier, you probably have it all under control, silly me.

Vicki

Hello Vicki,  I was wondering if I had missed some messages (or was looking in the wrong place!)  as I couldn't find any information as to where the page swap idea had gone.  I will be away for most of February but was keen to make a start for a March swap.  I am hoping that enough stitchers wanted to be in the project for it to get off the ground.  Frances

Hi all,

I just didn't post some days. Sorry.

I thought of starting to work at 15th january and to post on 15th of February the first page.

My theme would be Vintage.

I will write a list tomorrow.

Trillian

Thanks, trillian, see you did have it all under control.  I hope all is well with you.

Hi,

I have just collected all themes of you. I don't know the theme of Frances yet.

Annet Trees
Helen Favorit Poem or Saying
Vicky Leaves/foliage
Trillian Vintage

Did I forget someone?

I thought of swapping the book pages of several months. We will start working in January and send the first page the latest the 15th February. Next Month the same.

Here is an example:

Annet swaps with Helen. That means Annet would make a page with her favorit poem for Helen and Helen a page with trees for Annet. Next Month Annet will swap with Vicky.

I think we sould wait until 9th February until I build the list of partners (I don't know if I will have time to post a message at 10th of Feb.). I hope you are fine with these plans.

Have a nice Weekend

Trillian

Hi,

I made a mistake. This afternoon I thought we are still in January....

We are starting on February 15 and will send our first page on march 15!

And the subject of Frances is "home".

Annet Trees
Helen Favorit Poem or Saying
Vicky Leaves/foliage
Trillian Vintage
Frances Home

Hello Trillian. I am glad the book page swap is under way.  Yes, my theme is home in its widest interpretation i.e. landscape or detail.  I look forward to knowing who my first swap partner will be and will have their page ready by March 15th.   I will be away from home for most of February but can access my e-mail and at least get my creative juices flowing while I am away.

Kind regards. Frances

Thanks, trillian.  I'm fine with this. gives us all plenty of time and also allows frances to join.

Hi Trillian......I've just sent you an email explaining why I've been tardy in my reply........I hope I'm not too late to join in....sounds like exciting fun.....thanks Teresa

Me again.......I said in my email to Trillian if I am not too late to join, my theme would be colour......is it OK if I change that to texture/colour please ?
