I dont know if anyones interested?
But I have completed my wet felted necklace :O) Photo's are in my albumn photos.

I did so enjoy making this necklace and it actually looks better for real than the photo....somehow has more texture and colours.
I had to dye the ribbon myself as could find not surplies sadly for this idea.

Thanks for all who encouraged me here to have a go!!

Will have more courage to do more felting now! Hmm What next????????

Thank you so much Geowyn,
I love colours that ''zing'' together, Funny I had those yellow beads for many years without a use...then started this project and realised that the purple felt would just ''sing'' with yellow's! Its funny though...has to be the right yellow ( not golden but citrus and sharp yellow)
Anyhow thank you for comments its all encouragement to me.
Would love to do a red felt heart with an icicle in white as a cutout decoration next....get some made up to go in my Christmas box!! Just got to get a large template of a ''shabby'' type heart for a pattern.
Warm wishes from Pam
Your necklace is beautiful! Thanks for posting it.
This looks so very pretty. I do like the idea that you have dyed the ribbon to match too.
Thanks mandy for that encouragement.
Have you done silk painting yourself? I had done it years ago but forgotten what great fun it is,especially when you use salt to diffuse the colours. Its great as the end result is always unexpected!!!
I have decided to make a larger swag for a mantle shelf. I need colours like a wilk rose sort of ''Shabby chic''
What colour felt to you recon it should be? Also got to find a way ( pattern) to make a rose with felt ''HELP'' lol!!!!
Warm wishes from Pam
Pam - Have you visited the felting forum?

There are many tutorials available and many wonderful felters to answer questions. One of our members does wonderful felt flowers and I'm sure she'd be willing to answer your questions.
Thanks Ruth,
I did have a peep the other evening...I didnt know where to begin!!!!!!!!!! HELP :O)
I am wanting to make roses like Shabby Chic roses for a mantle swag.
Also I am trying to learn to be able to help our little craft class with these simple felting things/ ideas.
Lovely to hear from you again..any ideas you may have as to where I start would be wonderful.
Warm wishes from Pam
Pam - here are a few places that have tutorials:

http://www.owning-alpaca.com/felting-project.html

http://www.fibrespacecrafts.com/howto.html

http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26754866

The last one is $8.50 US to download but I think it might be more of the look that you want. Hope that helps.
Thanks Ruth for that help.
The last one PDF is very interesting as is the fibrespacecrafts too.
Not sure I want to pay out for the PDF although its very reasonable, but funds are not available at this moment in time...maybe can make out myself how to do similar.
I am having to spend money on felt stuff to teach a free class to our bead group next month.

I thought the free on fibrespace was so pretty and soft looking maybe tempted to have a go at these.
Thanks for all the kind help given to me.
This is so pretty. I haven't done anything like jewellery ... the people around here would probably say it was "itchy"!!

Your felted ribbon necklace is absolutely beautiful.  Very creative indeed. Hugs Judy
