Third Birthday swap - February 2010 - 2011 now closed.

I've noticed several people asking to join in the current birthday swaps that are running, and as you have probably worked out, once a list is created for the next 12 months, it isn't feasible to add new people in that time frame. So I thought it might be a good time to start a new Swap now, while this year is still young.

OK, we have six participants in this swap. This is the list in birthday order: February 18 - Pauline Brewis
July 12 - Joy Vale
August 23 - Barbara Lockwood
August 24 - Sharon
October 4 - Robbie
October 8 - Marja Maas.

I know I have some of your addresses from previous swaps, but I would appreciate if you would all email me direct (gandkwil@hotmail.com)
giving me your postal address, so I can notify everyone of each birthday girl's address in advance. Pauline's postcards will obviously be late, but nobody should feel pressured, as the next one is not until July!

Well....is it fair that some people will get more FPCs than the others? And don't forget, that means the rest of us have to make extras! I agree it would be better if we could run the swaps January through to December, but things get so busy in November, organising swaps for the following year are low on the list of priorities! Let's wait and see what happens - if you (Joy) and others would still like to follow your idea, it should work out.

I'm trying to sort my to do list...and noticed pauline is the only card left to do for this swap

it must have seemed like forever since you joined this one.

Pauline I hope you got the card I sent for your birthday....

We are now all finished with this swap.... Not sure that these Birthday swaps work too well life seems to get in the way over the course of the year and people forget their commitments.

I certainly haven't got a card from you all....but I did send everyone a card so if it didn't arrive let me know and I will replace it....
