May flowers?

bugs?

In Japan, until recently, 5th May was known as Boy's Day (Tango no Sekku), or the Feast of Banners. Families with boys hang colourful carp kites, called Koinobori, outside their houses - one for each boy, with the biggest representing the oldest boy at the top. In Japanese culture, the carp (or koi) represents courage and perseverance, as the fish is known for its strength and determination as it swims against the current upstream. Perhaps we could use Koi as a subject for May, or kites?

What about a colour?  Either stipulate a specific colour or choose your own?  Just a thought,,,,,

In Germany May is and used to be a popular month for marriage.

So what about romance?

We have had a few suggestions in how do you all feel about a colour swap, we could choose a 2 colours we like and then we could all do what we want so it covers all the suggested themes. Let me know and come and sign up.

Are you all in for the may swap, Kim, Trillian, Kathryn, algecira,Helen Margaret and Heike?
