Hi Rhonda......I posted your card on Monday, maybe you'll get it today.......although perhaps not.......I posted a card for a friend's birthday to the next suburb, it took 3 days to get there!

 

I've also given Eileen her card, so I'm all up to date....hmm, can't remember if there are any more to do *wicked grin*

Me me me......says the women down south in the rain and the wind....waving her hand

it was so bad here monday night it would have blown the dog of its chain.....

just wet now......will need a boat to visit the paddocks soon....VEry Wet...... at least we are all safe and sound and no real damage here

Oh Sharon, that sounds terrible, I had no idea you were having wild weather down your way, I knew the Central Coast was, guess it all moved south!  A friend of mine in Bathurst is having snow.  All hard to believe while I gardened in 20 deg sunshine in tshirt.

 

I hope you continue to be safe and all is well on the farm.........and of course I knew we still have your birthday to celebrate *)

we have had a low come across SA and Victoria which has left us very very cold....hail, a little snow and lots of slow drizzling rain....Haven't put clothes on the line for 2 weeks....lounge looks a little like a laundrette....clothes on racks and I'm over it..... there are people far worse off than us...Not Under water Yet.

Ed has spent the day cutting limbs and trees off fencing ....not sure how we will ever get around the paddocks to mark the lambs....it's so wet out there....Oh well it will be January and 40 degrees before we know it.....

this week an envelope arrived with two fantastic postcards for my birthday

the first is a cashmere sweater that has been felted, embroidered with crochet flowers and beads...the second card has a background of fabrics under net and a lovely bouquet of flowers on the top. The Back ground was made with fabrics I had given. Mary Lou Curry has taken my gift, re worked it and given it back, very clever....It is fabulous to have 2 great cards of flowers at a time when my garden is really wet, cold and full of weeds....LOL

I haven't been around stitchin fingers for a while, life and it's pressures have taken me in other directions. Hopefully I will get back amongst the swaps soon.....

I would just like to say that I hope you have all enjoyed this swap....It is difficult to get so many women to stay in contact for a whole Year and complete the challenge...It is great to see lots of different styles and work

I do think that the links to peoples Blogs are my favourite.....I love to spend time wondering through looking at all the different blogs...thoughts and works.
