had little pearl buttons on the wrist

Hi Girls  - Lovely dress  - she looks beautiful Sharon  - you should be proud. Thank you for all the lovely postcards - I really enjoyed them all and yes  - there was a surprise party we had a great night  - My DIL made a cake exactly like my Bernina 440QE Sewing machine - she is very talented  - also a little sewin basket at it's side  - I was blown away - all this talent that is out there!!!!!

Off to spend the day Quilting - has anyone heard of Anne Summerlad - she designs and holds quilting classes specializing in Oriental Quilt designs - lives up in the Blue Mountains about 150klms from Sydney - you can google her name and have a look at her website.

I haven't forgotten you either Rhonda, I keep thinking/planning...'today will be the day I manage to find 10 minutes to sit down and finish those edges', but sadly it doesn't seem to happen.    I feel like I'm in good company though if our illustrious leader hasn't sent hers yet either :)

 

Sharon, love the photo of your daughter, she looks just gorgeous, no wonder you're a proud mama.  And her dress is lovely..... did you make it?

Yes I made it.....My oldest daughter did fashion design for a while at school So I dug out her books and taught myself to draft the pattern and then made the dress....We had a few hiccups ....I 'm very happy with the fit and it was very flattering....

Love the illustrious leader bit...LOL   I'm hopeless really.

the past month I have been flat out with Casterton Kelpie Muster...have a look at Casterton-Kelpies.org

We had a fantastic long weekend....months of planning...days setting up 2 days of fun, games demonstrations and Auctions and now days of packing up and cleaning......I think its worth it   My feet don't agree just yet.

I will make it up to the May ladies
