Rhonda, I'm not sure you have the idea of this swap...LOL

we have been going for a while......there is a list of birth Dates if you scroll up....

We have been making a post card and sending it to the birthday Girl...hopefully it arrives for the birthday celebrations.... or it could get really lost like mine to Mary lou or washed away in the floods like Marjas to Nanette.. So if you haven't sent any, you have 5 or 6 to do [not sure if Judith is still in, I will let you know about that] Once you have caught up we have, one in April to Jan and 1 in May to Eileen....hopefully everyone will make you a card for May and then Last of all is me in August. sounds easy when you say it like that..

I like making one big piece of background fabric with paint and stitches and then chopping it into cards size and embellishing them.....can make it quick and interesting..... have fun can't wait to see your results It is really  good to have you back on board the birthday train Rhonda....

Perhaps if we all send Rhonda a message with our emails to her page she can then email us for our snail mail addresses

OK - Got the idea - will make an effort to catch up with everyone this week - Looks like Wednsday will be Post Card Day - I'll try my hardest to get them done.

Then I need to contact everyone for address's is that correct?

You can only do your best Rhonda, see how you go...Rome wasn't built in a day... Just remember the reward is some great cards coming back to you in May.

Hopefully all the girls will send a message to your page and leave you their emails....so you can contact them for a snail mail address...It is good to contact them privately and have a chat.

Hi everyone........I received a card from Judith, I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge it here, I've been up to my ears in renovations, and haven't really been focused on anything very much.....weeks with no water in the house, dirt and dust everywhere, trying to coordinate tradespeople......well, those of you who've done it know what I mean!

I'm a bit redfaced to say I haven't sent Judith's yet, but I'm onto it this week, as life is pretty much back to normal, just the boxes of 'stuff' from the cupboards to go back in...ugh!

Marja's card to me hasn't arrived, but she's talked about that here, so it's ok.

 

Good to see Jan back on board.....when is your birthday?  I'll email you my address........Nanette

I'm not out to make anyone redfaced Nanette....I  have a couple of late cards due from another swap...It happens...life gets in the way of our stitching...Just wanted to get everyone up and chatting again...and hopefully at the end of august we will all have a nice lot of birthday cards ... It isn't hard to lose track of this birthday swap.

 Mary Lou has had some nice cards arrive , but mine still hasn't turned up....i thought I posted the replacement card ???.....off to do some book work > I hope I don't find it at the bottom of my desk today

I just had a message from Maria, she is busy caring for her Parents.... but has cards ready for Nanette ,Marja, Anne and judith, they are in the mail this week!!!  Mary lou got a card from Maria and loved it...
