For those using GIMP, I discovered there is a plugin available to make kaleidoscopes. (Here: http://registry.gimp.org/node/1702 The "Read me" in the package tells you where to put what.) It's not quite as simple as KrazyDad's, but it works and it's free. And you don't have to upload  a picture to a website to use it. Biggest negative is the preview is small and difficult to see. I still managed to play with it all evening. "Fractal Trace" + "Kaleidoscope" or "Kaleidoscope" + "Fractal Trace", with some "Make Seamless"  and "Modes" thrown in make some great patterns. :)

Heidi there is no folder - add photos to your photos and tag them or add them here using the photo icon info on how to do it under the 'how to use this site ' tab

Hi all found a great tutorial that explains Image resolution and image size. Its written for Photoshop but applies to all digital images. Just follow the link
