I wonder who would be interested in a different sort of Round robin ?
This would be where the participants make an ornament for each of the other people in the swap.
The ornaments don't have to be traditional Christmas as some of us may celebrate other festivals in Winter e.g. Hannukkah , loy-kruh-thong (Thailand),Diwali , winter solstice. the person receiving just needs to say what they would prefer - if they have a particular colour scheme , then they need to say that as well. Next , each person would get a list - we could work with up to 6 people - each list starts with a different person and you would have to commit to send at least one ornament a month to the next person on your list so If we start in September , each person would have at least 4 ornaments by Decembers end - if we start October , each person would have 3. If people are faster stitchers then thats okay or if you have more time and are able to get ahead then thats okay too but there is no pressure on this - March is still considered winter here in the UK !!!
Would anybody be interested in doing this ?

I couldn't help myself Tansy, I had to look - they are all unique! But it will still be a surprise, because you haven't stated which person is going to receive each one! Today I got around to cutting my fabrics and getting out the floss to work my ornaments. Now that I've finished most of my ATC and FPC commitments, I'll be able to get moving on the ornaments.

Thank you to Tansy - I received your ornament on Friday. It is lovely.

Also mine were posted to Gina, Jan and Tansy last week - they should be in your mail boxes soon.

I have received two now - Tansy's and Joy's - and they are on display in our dining room, attracting attention from my stitching friends! Mine have all been posted, and hopefully will arrive before Christmas.

Thanks Gina, yours arrived in my mail box yesterday. It's lovely - love the way you used my 'name'. It is appropriate for this time of year - or that's what I tell everyone..... Will post a picture of them when all in.

Jan, Tansy and Joy - I posted all three of my ornaments to you today (December 10th), so I hope they will arrive in time for Christmas. I've received lovely ornies from Tansy and Joy, and have posted photos of them on my blog Patra's Place. I've also posted photos of my ornies that I've just mailed, so if you want to have a sneak preview ladies, you can!
