Does anybody have method for turning pictures/images into cross stitch patterns? I have seen tutorials for photoshop, unfort. I don't have it and don't plan to get it any time soon.
Any ideas would be really appreciated!

Hi Liz, I know there is a program out there that is always being advertised in Just Cross Stitch and is meant to be very good. There are also some shops that offer this service so you can try them too. This is the only advice that I have. Love Patti xxx

Hi Liz! There are several computer programs especially for this and I think they work really well. I had a few made by a shop that had the program and they turned out beautifully. (they are out of business now or I would give you the name)

There is always the old graph paper method but it is a lot of work!

Hi! Me again! Just came across a site Sharon B was mentioning on her blog about a site that will do this for you - free! I haven`t checked it out yet but it might be worth a peek. Here is the link:

Hi Kerry thanks for mentioning this as I was going to post something to the group because I think they will be interested.
Its free, easy to use and for both PCs and Macs. I have a full review here
