Hi there all!=)

Can anyone recommend a nice, light-mid blue linen shade and make? I've got the Lizzie*Kate 4 Seasons Button-Up charts, which say the modeal was stitched on twilight blue. Now, for one, they all love slightly different, and two the twi blue I got seemed both much darker and much greyer than what's in the photos there. I've found a good on-line supplier of linens no probs, but I'm just wondering about which shade to go for. Any ideas? And can anyone match up the linen colour to the nearest DMC or Anchor shade? (If it's not too much fuss - I can ask the store to do that too.)

Ta muchly.=)

On this site, you can see a variety of standard linen colors with DMC equivalents. I've ordered many times from this site and the colors are pretty true on my monitor from my experience:

This site has the equivalents also with no photos, but a more compact format.

They both show a color called twlight blue as 318 ... I would hardly call 318 a twilight blue. To me, it's just medium gray.

If you can use 36 count and want to do a hand-dyed, this one is beautiful. Vikki's linens are well-priced and a great value.

Online photos show up so different on each monitor that it's really hard to tell what you are getting. It can be very frustrating.

Annie, those are some great sources for linen and other goodies, too. Thank you for posting them!
