I have not yet attempted to make one of these cute items, but I've printed off tutorials showing how to do them, so I'm willing to have a go! I know that several of our Group members are keen to do a Biscornu swap, so if you are one of them, please leave a comment on this Thread.

Hello Gina...is the Biscornu exchange on....any specific theme and when is the dateline?....Do you list any specific rule such as only using special kind of fabric ie. only linen no Aida etc....I am kinda interested but have to find the details first before I join in to ensure that it did not conflict with my other stitching commitment....I have been doing Biscornu for sometime already and enjoy doing it!
Well, this is a popular item! Seven people have expressed interest, eight if you include me: Sheila, Jane, Theresa, Annie, Lynne, Siti, Amber and myself. Siti has several relevant questions, and some of you have also indicated that you are just showing interest at this stage, but not a firm commitment. That's fine - I can relate to that, especially if (like me) you haven't made a biscornu before!
Siti, I'm not setting down any rules about what kind of material you would use - Aida or linen are both okay, I'm sure. Whatever you are comfortable with. I don't think a theme would be applicable to Biscornu, so I'm not going to suggest one. As for the timeframe - in another swap for this Group, I've suggested that once I pair everyone up, each couple make their own arrangements about how much time they'll give each other. This way, if you are a slow worker due to other commitments, and your partner whips them up in no time, perhaps the quick one can wait until the other person is finished, and you can mail to each other around the same time. I do expect people to post messages here from time to time though, just to keep in touch with the group about how you are going with your project.
OK, I think we can finalise this exchange, with eight participants. There are four of you in the USA (Sheila, Theresa, Annie and Amber), two in the UK (Jane and Lynne), Siti in Malaysia and me in Australia. Now, before I pair you all up, I would like some details regarding your preferences.
Would you prefer to exchange with someone in your own country (save on postage, quicker in time)?
Have you done a previous exchange with anybody else listed here, and if so, would you like to partner them again, or someone new?
Leave your answers here and I'll sift through them eventually and get back to you!
I'll exchange with anyone. I've been in one exchange with Theresa and it was great fun. But of course, we all love to meet new people so it would probably be even more fun if we each had different partners.
I've never been in an exchange with anyone here that I am aware of, anyway. I would prefer my own country. maybe partners can get together and decide what they would like to do, and fabric to use.
