Aw, Mieke!   This is soooo cute!   It does reminds me of myself when I had 5 boys under age 9 and people would look at me with a funny look on their faces.    Especially when my son's friends would come over to play, it does look like I had a lot of kids around my house.   LOL

My progress so far on "Children of the Rising Sun".   There are lot of factional stitches but once I get pass that, it is smooth going.

Thank you, June.   My son has it now and he is taking it to be framed at the professional framer.     Hopefully, I will see it finished with the frame to take a photo of it.

Really love your maple leaves Susan. So beautiful and evocative of Japan.

I decided to try to meet this challenge which involves beading, using leather like thread for mocassin, feather type threads for the feather on the headband, and lot of different colors threads for two strands when cross-stitching... it is called, "Children of the Rising Sun" by Marnic Designs.

Alas!  It is finished!   It will be framed professionally.   It took me almost 6 months to complete.  Now to pick out another big project from my stash pile.

What a lovely piece of work Susan, I haven't done a big piece like this for a while. Good for you.

My progress updated of "Red and Yellow Maple Leaves" as of March 31.  I had hoped to finished this by now but my dream was dashed.   I will keep going and hope to have it finished before end of April.  The design is 15 in high x 12 in wide.
