Yay! I'm so glad it arrived Brinda, and, that you like it! I think it will turn out to be a gorgeous bag!

I've sent off your little RR book. I hope it arrives soon.

It sounds as though we've all had such fun participating in this RR, and it's been a very positive experience, for me.

I can't wait to see what you and Kim do on my block! Did you have a good holiday? We've had wonderful weather the last week. Now it's cooler with rain.

Hugs from Suz

I will post some pictures of the work that I've done... we've been only a little chatty through e-mail, I'm afraid! I love how much this group is talking! It helps that there are more of you. We started with 5 participants and ended up losing 2, so there are only three of us! Still, I have had a wonderful time with it! and I am almost ready to send the block I'm working on home back home to its originator! I'm so excited!

I will definitely email you!

Tahlia, I'm so pleased you like my flower. It was a fun experiment. If you'd like to send me your addy, I'd be happy to send you a few more pics. (susancussatyahoodotcom)

I would love to have some more eye candy with your group showing their pics. I'd love to see more and learn more!

Hi Tahlia. I sent you an email. ;-)

We only have three in our group, too: Kim, Brinda and I. I think three is a good number for the size of block we're doing. I'm not sure I could contain myself if there was less room for stitching.

I look forward to seeing your pics!

Well here it is. My work on Suz's block is finally done! I hope you like it Suz! I pondered quite a long time and then decided to create a magic garden! I think it was all the pinks in your block that made me think of magic! I have used crochet a lot! I spent some time on the net looking at flowers of different kinds and visualizing how I would crochet them.  I started by making the silver flowers and then the blue one with the yellow center. I made bright yellow buttercups, to add dimension to the whole picture. I finally embroidered on the white flowers with a simple lazydazy stitch and the clear bead as a center. You had said you would like garden visitors, so I hope you like the purple butterfly and the snails with a golden fleck! Its all Magic!!!

I have loved doing this and it will be posted very soon. I am posting both blocks to kim. I took you up on your suggestion and decided to send both together Kim.

I will be posting closeups of this on my blog http://embroideringmytale.blogspot.com/
Brinda, your work is so awesome!!  I'm so glad you posted it so I can plan ahead to finish it up.   Love those snails!  I don't crochet, but I love all this you have done for Susan.  It is just stunning.  I went in and looked at your blog and joined to get updates.  I have enjoyed keeping up with Susan's blog also.   This has been such fun!  Excellent job!!  Susan, do you want me to do the other 3 squares or to you want me to leave you one to do yourself?

Brinda! I love it! It's so cheery and bright, and fun! Perfect! I love the snails, too. I'm so glad you included some of your crocheting on my block. My Mom crocheted and I have some of her work, so I'm delighted to have a bit of yours, now, too. Thank you!! I'll be off to check out your blog.

Thanks Kim and Susan. I am delighted you like it Suz! I have loved doing it and was a little bit nervous since this is my first time! I got the little booklet in the mail as well. Thanks for that. We have become friends and hope we can keep the friendship strong and growing!

I'm glad it arrived, Brinda. Thanks for letting me know.

This is my first official RR, too, ( I've done a few whole blocks in swaps)  and it was fun stitching with other people! I've sure enjoyed this, and making new friends, too.

Hugs from Suz

Kim, I'll be happy letting you make the choice: if you'd like to do the remaining blocks, I'd be thrilled! But, if you decide once you begin working on it that you only wish to do two, that would be fine. I have other blocks in the same materials to work on, so I won't be feeling deprived if you complete it. Okay?

I'm looking forward to seeing what you add to my 'Magic Garden'!

Hugs from Suz

I especially love the snails!!!
