Hi Kathy...

This group (Summer 2011 CQ Round Robin) has already been started and the ladies are working on their blocks. Unfortunately this specific group in now closed to new members. I'd certainly be willing to start yet another group as a second group if enough people are interested in joining it. Smaller groups of 4-6 are about the right size for running a round robin. If you happen to know of anyone else or if any others are interested please let me know and we'll get it going too!

I'm so looking forward to my first group round robin! It will be nice to meet the other members of group 1 and have fun embellishing each others' blocks.

Have you down too Kathy...so that's three of us as I will happily work on another block! When we get enough participation I'll be in touch with everyone with more info on how things will go. You can be plotting and planning in your mind colors and fabrics for your block.

Oh crikey - I have lost my menopausal mind but I am feeling so brave today that I will join in too. This will be my first RR, but I've followed alot of them and I guess it's time I jump in.  I'm new to CQ and embroidery, so heaven help me (and the other ladies in the RR too, lol).

Hi everybody! Hope all is going well in your planning and sewing of your blocks for our Summer round robin! We have enough to do a second group as well so that's great! We can still make room for more participants too if any one else wants to join in. I will hold sign ups open until the 5th and then will get all initial info out to the second group members. Have a safe and happy July 4th holiday all!

I want to encourage anyone hesitating to join us in the 2nd Summer 2011 RR while there is still room. If you've never done a RR or if you aren't experienced in CQ, please don't let that stop you. This is my first RR and I can barely put together a block/embroider.  It's all for fun and gaining experience!! You can't do worse than I will. We will all be putting our best step forward and no one is going to judge. :-)
