Permalink Reply by Elaine Wilding on May 4, 2012 at 23:28 I got stuck in a rut you know life and all. But I love the thinking you have caused in my brain and I have been sketching some thoughts but can't say anything is clear as of yet. I know what ever you create it is going to be off the chain. And thanks for stirring the pot in my head. Hugs to you Elaine

I then painted my fabrics for the dress/body sections... it's on my blog if you're interested... still much to do, but getting there...as usual I'm taking off at tangents and just lino cut/ embossed some sets of the symbols as ATC's too...

Hope things are getting a little easier now Kat, such sad news.
How are we all doing? I got waylaid with uni end of year work so not done much.... but have made sewn hands and faces, but would rather do clay ones... so shall play with them later. Although we're only doing one, I always work them as a set which is causing some issues finding suitable matching fabrics... oh well... have just found one that I can play with using copics... I need to concentrate on one doll, but plan for them all at the same time... guess I've got a busy few weeks ahead!
happy creating,

Permalink Reply by Kalona Simmons on June 15, 2012 at 14:32 Well, I haven't got the 4 finished, but I've been all out this past 2 days and got "Earth" done.. almost! I don't usually do shaped cloth faces and felt like giving it a go... not happy with it so will be making a clay mask to go over her... and I'm still struggling with the mold for clay hands.... but other than that, here she is... pics not brill as camera is playing up, but shall post more detailed pics when I can take some.xxx
I've perched her on a garden dreamcatcher, hopefully we'll get some sun soon and my camera will sort itself out...
how's everyone else doing?
