Hi Violette, I don't have any trouble leaving comments on the groups I'm in, but I know what you mean about only a few of them appearing on my home page. You have to click on 'view all' to see them all.
Hi Virginie, I have one French needlework book which is probably my favourite book of all time - it is about French Mail art, and I can't understand a word of it, but the pictures are absolutely beautiful! I'd like more French embroidery books in my collection, but I can only get them on Amazon.com and they are very expensive to get to Australia!

Hello,
I love books in general, but needlework 's books are my weakness. I can't stop to buy it (though my credit cart stops me sometimes ;-)
I am a french girl, but I have to admit that I have more english needlework books than french one.
See you soon
Virginie

Its me again. I thought that I joined this group but it is not appearing on my home page. Is there a limit on the number of groups you can join? I joined 5 but only 3 are appearing on my home page. When I came back here to leave another comment, I had to rejoin in order to make the comment. I am confused. Any ideas anyone?

Hi, I just joined. I am left handed and have the Myers book. I bought it at a used bookstore, alas now closed, in Seattle. It comes in handy.

I found a fascinating book in a thrift shop this week: "A Primer For Left Handed Embroidery" by Carole Robbins Myers. I'm not left handed, but I snapped it up in case any of my stitching friends are!

I agree with Gina E that Crazy Patchwork has fantastic descriptions and ideas for using stitches. I bought Magic Crazy Patchwork by J. Marsha Michler and find her ideas for the use of various stitches wonderful. Grace

I bought two books today at an antique market which has just opened in my suburb. These books aren't exactly antiques, but for $10 each I think I got a bargain!
'Crazy Patchwork' by Janet Haigh, and 'Traditional Samplers' by Sarah Don. I don't do patchwork, but I find the books on CQ have fantastic descriptions of embroidery stitches - and the pictures of the projects in the books are so beautiful, it makes me itch to take up this craft!

I have quite an extensive library of textile books and have just added to it today with Maggie Grey's latest book "from Image to Stitch". Still working my way through it but so far I'm not disappointed
