Hi Sue!  I'm so excited that you will be visiting us in Atlanta!  I've just recently moved back and only had the opportunity to visit one so far.  I've got a group of girl friends visiting this weekend and we'll be sure to hit several of the stores.  I'll send an update after this weekend.  Hope to meet you while you are here!

What are the dates that you plan to be in Atlanta? There are several weeks of beading classes in April. If I go, I can only go for one week. Sue, Carol-Anne and Christa, will you be there for multiple weeks/classes?

-Terry

Hi The plan is for myself and Carol -Anne to be there both weeks we arrive the weekend before and are there for two weeks.  As we have one free day we thought it would be nice to go and look at one bead shop hence the question as we would like to go to the nest one in the area.  Are you attending the classes?  Sue

Hi Girls,

So glad you guys are coming.  I haven't signed up for any of the bead classes - trying to stay focused on the phase corriculum and not begin a new "sport" until I get through phase X…. but we'll see!

We visited Beadazzled on Hilderbrand last weekend and it's definitely one to visit if you have time.  Its just above the Nimble Needle and there is also a ribbon store a couple of doors down.  We stocked up on lots of seed beads, Delicas, Tilas, Swaroski, etc.  One of the girls even bought a finished necklace.  As I visit more of the shops, I'll post more.

Hi Christa

Today, Sue and I have enrolled for the Special Class and the bead workshop with Ms Matsukawa-san.  We have to actually complete our Phase IV design before we can enrol for the Phase V class but we are both fully focused on that goal and are making good progress on our respective designs.  Sue has been with me this weekend and we have done several hours beading.  Sue is doing the Peacock Mat and it looks absolutely stunning.  I am doing Floral Melody.  I have loved this design from when I first saw it on the cover of the Bead Embroidery book and it has been pure delight to work on.

Woohoo! I have finished my Phase IV and have enrolled for the Phase V class.  I am coming to America :-)

I've just uploaded some pictures of my Floral Melody to my album.

Hi All have finished my phase IV beading so I can do my Phase V in Atlanta in April,  have added pictures am really please.  So is my friend Carol Anne :-) we are both coming so which bead shops are best?????
