Is anyone in the bead group taking part in the bead journal project for 2012?

I have to work in the lounge or dining area, which means packing things away again everyday. Just a couple of smallish cupboard spaces to keep my current projects, and the rest of my stash lives permanently in a large shipping container in the paddock.
I've not had time for any stitching or beading as Christmas has not yet left our house. Caravan, tents and 2 extra bedrooms still have family and friend visiting us (full time party). Maybe another week before I get some time to myself.

Im learning how to blog (something Ive never done before) and learning all these design, patchwork and embroidery skills too. My husband is starting to get a little narked though as Im either stitching or on the computer........... Thankyou for your tolerance darling husband (he might look at the computer next time he walks past!!)
You are taking on a lot Emily. I've been blogging for over a year now, but still learn new things. I know what you mean about being either on the computer or stitching! Did you hear me laugh out loud when I read the part about hubby walking by and reading what you are typing? So funny!!! Debra is great. She is also running a blog for TAST/CQJP. There are only about a dozen of us in that group. I don't know how she does it. I think her days are longer than mine. What else could it be?

I've completed my January BJP and posted the info on my blog at: http://ceoriginals.blogspot.com/2012/01/connie-bjp-for-january.html My image came out really large! How do I adjust this? Anyone?
Permalink Reply by Susan Shufelt on January 6, 2012 at 12:37 Did you try to crop the photo? Some picture software has this feature. I'm not an expert at this either but maybe try that. usually there is a crop button then you click on the photo a box should appear and you can adjust the size of your photo that way. Good luck. Nice job by the way. I am having a hard time deciding what to do for BJP. Still really haven't commited to anything yet. Oh and I started a blog also http://thebeadedneedle.blogspot.com. Just learning also but having a great time doing it...keeps the mind young... lol..

I'm Carol DeLater. I set up and monitor the BJP2012 Blog. Here's a link
http://2012beadjournalproject.blogspot.com/
I also signed on the TAST which I am SO excited about and CQ2012.
I've read several comments here regarding not hearing from the BJP2012 blog. Emily, I have contacted you
privately. If there is anyone else with questions or issues or new blogs, please let me know. I participated in the BJP for a few years and this is my second year to man the blog.
I have always had a love of CQ and have admired Sharon's work so much, among others. I haven't been an avid stitcher for a while, but I look forward to building my skills and knowledge and being more active on this site.
I look forward to becoming more active on this forum. It really is a wonderful place to hang out!!
Permalink Reply by Janie S on January 6, 2012 at 21:11 Connie, I love your lace. I hadn't thought of doing that. On your blog, you talked about difficulties making the correct spacing and angles. It looks like you mastered those issues!
Are there any tips anyone has, to make correct angles?
Janie
Hi Carol! So glad you have joined us here!
