Hi all ... I'm home! Had wires crossed about the time factor...and while I'm off till the 17th...the cottage was not available through till then. Glad to be home...was starting to get 'puter withdrawal!

Well kids...I know I've been quiet this week...I've been busy at work trying to get everything in order before I go on holiday next week. I'll be out of town...without a computer...from Aug 11 - 17...so will check in when I get home. Michele...welcome and thanks for sharing pics of your buttons! They're wonderful! Great idea for glitzing up a CQ project...just might have to give that a try!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the group and to beading. I am a quilter and have been using more beads in my work. When I feel the need to bead though I like to make beaded buttons. I've shared the two I've made so far. Enjoy.

Thank you Virginie for sharing your beautiful work! I don't know very much about tambour work...and have to agree with Janine...I think I wanna know more!

Hi again Kelly ... am sure you'll get lots of ideas here...there is a lot of super talent among our members...and am sure there will be lots of sharing of ideas.

I'm thinking ( just like the lists) that summer months here will be slower as people are on holidays and enjoying outdoor activity...but there's been a surprising amount of activity recently.

I am new to the group and new to beading also. I am a quilter and am interested in crazy quilting and adding beading to my quilts. Look forward to getting to know everyone and getting some great tips.
