This week's stitch looks like our old favourite buttonhole completed in a circular form. The main link back to Sharon's notes are here and last year's samples here

while searching for more info about it one of the web sites I visited said that to obtain an even stitch it is best to use a fabric that is tightly woven..

Hope you will excuse the shortness of this upload but I am unbelievably flat out and it was a quick note or no note... looking forward to seeing what everyone does with this stitch

I have had a go at what Sharon Bogon calls buttonhole cups - based on buttonhole wheels.

I like those. Did you need to plan out how far apart to put the stitches?

No, but on thinking about them again, I put one detached buttonhole in each ground stitch, but there is nothing stopping you putting two.
