Hi everyone,
sorry for the late posting but I didn't realise that Monday had been and gone. While setting up today's stitch links I have discovered that Sharon has moved her blog to a new location. I think this will mean that the previous links won't work any more. I will when I find the time go back and change the links but that will have to wait until the new year. I haven't yet found a link to all of the stitches. From what I can see it is now necessary to search through all of the TAST entries to find each separate stitch.. though this may be because I am looking in the wrong spot!
Oh for next week I will hopefully upload the stitch on Sunday .. if I remember. If I forget then I am sorry it won't go up for a week as I am taking a group of students off to camp and won't be home until Friday.
Now to get back on track the stitch for this week is the first stitch we all ever learnt .. running stitch. I even taught this to one of the preschoolers I teach just last week. What a co-incidence... pity I didn't photograph it as it looked so cute :-)
For some samples of last year's creativity just check out their flickr
Looking forward to seeing how we all go with this... although so far very few people appear to have returned after the long break.
I have started decorating which very much disrupts the sewing routine, well any routine. Come the New Year I'll be back with a vengeance. I will have so much to catch up with. I'll still be checking in to see what everyone has been doing though. Enjoy your camp Cinzia
I'm still here, Cinzia - no holidays or camps on the horizon for me! Weeks 15 and 16 are beyond my limited capabilities, I'm afraid, but running stitch is right down my alley.

I don't want to be in "catch up" mode once again but palestrina stitch it taking for ever to get done. Running stitch I should be able to do with my eyes closed.is there going to be a teeny tiny break for Christmas?
Christmas is on a 4C week ... i.e. the fourth week of the month where you can Catch Up! Coast onwards! Conquer the next stitch or simply be a Couch potato... so yes you do have a short break.... and as the following week is New Year and it looks like we will be having nearly twenty visitors here between xmas and new year I think a we can have a 4C fortnight and then everyone can be ready to start flying for 2009!
I have now finished running stitch. There was so much to try with this stitch. I could have kept going but decided to stop so I could get on with Basque stitch. I will do the woven and whipped wheels in the catch up week.
I like your red stitches.. they remind me of the time I had to teach some year 7 boys sewing and we made these bookmarks using just that stitch. Must say though that your stitches are considerably more even than many of their samples.
I've caught up with another stitch-details here and a photo here. I used running stitch to quilt the picture and whipped running stitch to create the border
Sorry for not replying sooner but I just arrived home today.
Your ATC looks cool... the machine felting looks 1000% better than any I have seen in real life and your spinning looks good too. Do you knit with your spun wool or just use it as thread for stitching?
