Here's my Feather stitch sample, I decided to concentrate on the texture and depth, by layering.

Week 3

Here is my feather stitch blog entry, lots of sketches, some stitches, a lot of "stitch theory"  :-)

I love it. Seems an underwater scene with coral reef. Beautifully stitched!

I had fun with this, although I did only a little at a time. I'll add the photos to my pictures here.

I've uploaded my photo on Week 3 in my page.  Excuse the blotches as the thread colour ran when I washed it to remove the water soluble blue ink! :(

I've just added my Feather Stitch sample to my Album.   Again, it's on a CQ block, because I'm doing this in combination with the Crazy Quilt Journal Project for 2012.  :-)

Finally I've uploaded my photo of my feather stitching. The stitch provided the finishing touches to my first fabric postcard, along with stitches from TAST weeks 1 and 2.

I find it very interesting to work with feather stitch. 

It gives many possibilities. Here is a work I did on a crazy:
