I did the fly stich and button hole...I'm totally new at all of this ...and feeling really sceeeered about posting anyone else feel like that??
@pamela - new things are scary, but trying new things keeps us limber! Take heart and move one step at a time. What's the next step that you want to take - just pinning that done can be daunting since there are so many choices! Once you know, reach out. This is a super helpful community! Most of all - have fun in the exploration!
thank you Julia ::::my goal is to post this weekend lol :::::just thought i'd mention it in case someone else was feeling the same way LOL...Ok ...on to stitching yaaaaay!
All of the work shown so far is really great!
We have been out of state so I am late in starting but will be caught up before stitch 3 goes live.
Love it! Love it large! :)
Thank you both for the kind comments - I normally re-size them, but was a bit tired :)
Beautiful, love the twiggy shape!
Blogging it here: http://y-knotblog.blogspot.com/2012/01/buttonhole-stitch-tast-2012....
Here is a sample stitch. I really love starting out with some basic stitches and seeing what they can do.
Hopscotch your work is so inspiring. I am glad that it is large so that the details are appreciated. I love the colors you used as well.
Posted my buttonhole practice from this week. I am making a book of stitches at the end of the year. Each stitch will have a page...unless I get carried away. Anyway, posted them here on my blog.
