Good evening, I look forward to applying our new stitch - the buttonhole stitch and a variety of variations. It is Monday night, so I won't start until tomorrow. Look forward to appreciating the creativity of fellow stitchers.

Yup, me too. I also saw it on Monday evening and had a good look in my stitch dictionary for ideas before bed. I'm all ready to get started on my doodle pad before doing this week's picture - hopefully *all* in blanket stitch variations this time (I had to add stem stitch and 2 ribbon stitches to my fly stitch collection last week...)

The buttonhole stitch is the perfect compliment to the fly stitch on my "lace fans"! Solved a problem I was having trying to seek a nice balance.

Just happened to open up Judith Baker Montano's elegant stitches and saw two whole pages of button hole stitch variations - well, I have no excuse now, do I?
