Information for people joining TAST

Hi everyone,
Many of you will have already read this but if you are new to the group this earlier post has some useful information for you about the organisation.
One thing that is worth doing before we start is signing up for flickr so that you can upload your stitch as soon as you have completed. It is really exciting for everyone to check out all of the samples and with so many new people singing up now it will take me some time to approve people joining our flickr group. Once you are approved, next time I come on line :) you will be able to post your stitch as soon as you finish it. Oh for the comment simply write I am doing TAST in the comment section.

I already belong to flickr so will that be okay? or do you mean sign up for this particular group on flickr? Sorry if I sound ?? but I haven't belonged to these groups for long. Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to this and hope I can keep up.

also sign up for the group. You needed your own flickr account first so just go to TASt and sign up so that I can approve you to upload photos there... otherwise I will need to approve each photo each time.. this is quicker

What I noticed when I was running this group earlier in the year was that people who got behind who set a smaller target, like I will do one/two samples each week, were able to catch up and then go back and do more exploring with the stitches they liked. Others, like me, who figured it was an all or nothing.. must do bulk examples, became discouraged and generally gave up.

I am only setting myself a target of two or three samples per stitch. when I have time then I will experiment more.

great to see you are doing TAST, so am I, I have decided I would like to create my own stitch library. Which has left me dithering over colour and threads. :)

Hi Ann,
you should have received notice that you have been accepted. I can't check unless I know your flickr account name and I know this sounds as though I am slack but I haven't been remembering all of the names as people have joined lately because there have been just so many. So if you haven't received a confirmation email let me know your flickr name and I will check for you
