We have had a few people join up lately and they are lost trying to find their way around so here is a quick summary for you.
We are now in our second week.
Monday night or Tuesday morning I will upload the link to next week's stitch. These are placed in the discussion section with the heading Week # - stitch name.
Join our flickr site now and when you have finished your sample upload a photo there.
If you want to work ahead Sharon's original site has all of the notes. Week 4 every month is a free week with no stitch being uploaded. You can catch up, relax and do nothing or explore something you haven't had time for yet.... your choice.
Welcome and we all look forward to sewing with you.
Any more questions just email me and I will reply when next on computer. Easiest way to talk with a specific person is to click on their name and that will take you to their own page and a message is then sent to that person.
Welcome
Thank you - that made it really clear what's happening - have just started hand embroidery (I did some at school a long time ago but not a lot recently apart from a brief go at crazy quilting)
Hi I just started today and I am uploading pics as I am typing this. I don't think I did a very good job. So this week I want to hit them again. So that I am sure that I have the stitches down.
Here is a direct link to Hanane's samples ... your herringbone and detached chain look lovely together. When you get the chance please upload them also on our flickr site.
Cinzia, I wanted to talk to you direct, but when i clicked on your name, this is where the computer took me. Slowly finding my way around here. This is a group that i would like to belong to. But it might move too fast for me to achieve what i would like. Is this group still going to continue next year.
My goal would be to work on one stitch in two weeks. One week i will probably draw out the stitches in a journal and the next week sew them. I realize that you have a catch up week, but still don't know if i can work that fast....sorry i am slow. Happy sewing hugs, Kathy
