Hello there, One of my good intentions for 2015 was starting a blog on the things I make. And I did! But it takes  a lot of time, so I feel I can forget the rest of my good intentions. I do a lot of embroidery, beading and origami when I have the time. I love making things and I love using out of hte box materials. I learned a lot of Mary Corbet's site. I think I tried out every stitch on it!

Hi, everyone! I'm Karen and I am hoping that by joining this group I will be shamed into restarting and keeping up my blog posts. I am the very worst at this. I love all embroidery and always open to trying out something new and am completely unafraid to have the results be embarrassingly awful. xo

My blog is called My Amazing Journey To The Acceptance Of Life. I created this blog while taking massage therapy courses. The title stems from the belief that there are some things you cannot change and you must learn to accept and move on instead of harboring disappointment. You must make the best of every situation and strive to change what you can for the better. After school I changed it to a sewing blog but the name has held it's significance so I don't want to change it. I blog about my many sewing adventures including embroidery, crazy quilting, inspirations, model trains & painting. I am always exploring new sewing techniques so I am sure much more will come up.
