Hi, everyone! I'm Karen and I am hoping that by joining this group I will be shamed into restarting and keeping up my blog posts. I am the very worst at this. I love all embroidery and always open to trying out something new and am completely unafraid to have the results be embarrassingly awful. xo

My blog is called My Amazing Journey To The Acceptance Of Life. I created this blog while taking massage therapy courses. The title stems from the belief that there are some things you cannot change and you must learn to accept and move on instead of harboring disappointment. You must make the best of every situation and strive to change what you can for the better. After school I changed it to a sewing blog but the name has held it's significance so I don't want to change it. I blog about my many sewing adventures including embroidery, crazy quilting, inspirations, model trains & painting. I am always exploring new sewing techniques so I am sure much more will come up.

I dye my own fabric, create cloth books, art quilts and experiment with shibori and threadpainting.

My website is called Suziwong Creations and the blog 'Sew Be It' is mainly about my sewing and embroidery misadventures, including my vintage sewing pattern collections (layettes, children's clothing and adult clothing) vintage sewing tools, books and machines.

Tired of all those well put together blogs that offer fabulous tutorials and information??? Then i'm your gal. Come on over for a giggle and a bit of ogling...grab a cuppa of your choice and join me in my quirky corner of cyberspace.

I have two blogs, both of fairly long standing.  One is Art, the Beautiful Metaphor,at which is a gallery of my artworks in different media, and exhibits, also the occasional review of exhibits I've visited, or museums worth a trip.  I do a lot of showing wip and explaining what I'm doing and why, since people do seem to enjoy that, whether or not they art artists.

My other blog, Field and Fen,  is a general blog, with opinions, book reviews, appearances and photoshoots of my character dolls, The Dollivers and friends, food, news of my doings, and generally pretty nice fun.

I really appreciate visits and comments, and try to reciprocate wherever I can.
