Any chance of this group getting again? OR do we just jump in and do our own challenge?

Starting to embellish a quilt the sizwe of a wall hanging that has just been hanging around in my tub of UFO needle work projects. Also found a whole bag of odd sized pearl beads, and another of all sizes of white buttons. ''Also think one of the squares I want to embellish with all types of heart buttons I find .

I don't know if and when they will, tyhere are none for 2010. I have gone to the flikr pages to see what they came up with, and often they are on other challenges, but with the site's permission, I don't know why we can't start a small group to get ourselves going. How about it? Pick up where they left off? We are half way through the year, I think that is a perfect time to get in all the seasons of inspiration.

I like seeing what everyone did so i can try new things, whether doing it along with someone or not. Such talented ladies, I don't know how many of your blogs i'm now following on Blogger and flikr and so forth. too much inspiration, too little work.

Hi, everyone. I'm so disappointed that I wasn't able to participate in this challenge as I had intended. "Life" and running our own business just got in my way and something had to go. I'm so impressed with those of you who kept at it. I'm just now having time to stroll through the Flicker site to see your beautiful work. You should all be so proud of yourselves!

Is there any interest in starting another group to do this again. I'm not sure how many others couldn't keep going this last time or how many new members might like to have a go of it, but I know I sure would. Life and work commitments have settled down and I feel that I really want to do this now. I just don't think I can keep up with fas ast of a pace as this group did. I think I'm going to plan on doing 100 details in 2009, though. I figure that there are 49 weeks left in 2009....48 if I start February 1st. That would make 2 details a week with 4 of the easier ones to be worked in as "bonus" details along the way, so that 100 could be completed by the end of the year. Anyone else out there up for a 2009 100 Details Challenge?? I don't know if Susan E. would consider heading up a second go at this, but if not; maybe she'd advise me on how to set up a group here and how to post the details each week.....maybe post two details once a week on Sunday. We'd need a flicker account, too, or maybe we could extend onto the one for this past challenge. I will keep checking back this week to see if there is any interest in joining me in doing this. It would be great to continue the legacy of Sharon B's wonderful collection of details being an inspiration to all of us to stretch our abilities.

At last I've put the 100 Stitch blocks together and made them into a wallhanging. It was an absolute devil to put together. My own fault I SHOULD have stabilised the blocks before embrodiering them. Anyone thinking of embroidering log cabin blocks beware, stabilise first otherwise they distort!!!
