I mistakenly posted this on the general comment thread and actually wanted to start a new discussion......so I'm reposting it here:

Hi, everyone. I'm so disappointed that I wasn't able to participate in this challenge as I had intended. "Life" and running our own business just got in my way and something had to go. I'm so impressed with those of you who kept at it. I'm just now having time to stroll through the Flicker site to see your beautiful work. You should all be so proud of yourselves!

Is there any interest in starting another group to do this again. I'm not sure how many others couldn't keep going this last time or how many new members might like to have a go of it, but I know I sure would. Life and work commitments have settled down and I feel that I really want to do this now. I just don't think I can keep up with fas ast of a pace as this group did. I think I'm going to plan on doing 100 details in 2009, though. I figure that there are 49 weeks left in 2009....48 if I start February 1st. That would make 2 details a week with 4 of the easier ones to be worked in as "bonus" details along the way, so that 100 could be completed by the end of the year. Anyone else out there up for a 2009 100 Details Challenge?? I don't know if Susan E. would consider heading up a second go at this, but if not; maybe she'd advise me on how to set up a group here and how to post the details each week.....maybe post two details once a week on Sunday. We'd need a flicker account, too, or maybe we could extend onto the one for this past challenge. It would be great to continue the legacy of Sharon B's wonderful collection of details being an inspiration to all of us to stretch our abilities. I've sent messages to Susan E. and to Sharon B. to see what they think, too. I will keep checking back this week to see if there is any interest in joining me in doing this once I hear back from Susan and Sharon.

Sherry,
Sharon's 100days challenge is just amazing. I am keen on starting it.

Leena and anyone else interested in joining me in doing Sharon's 100 Details at a slightly slower pace.....

I just got an email from Sharon, and she has given us her blessing to start another round of the 100 Details. I'm going to post on the hand embroidery and the crazy quilting groups about starting this slower version. I'm also going to try to get hold of Susan Elliot to see if she'd lend a hand in helping to get it up and running. I will let you know when we will start....but we will, even if it's a small group.

Hi all I just thought I would swing by and let people know that I have started a new series of posts on my blog documenting the "I dropped the button box quilt" I plan doing it block by block, first introducing the block to set things in context, which I did today. Then over the next week or so highlighting each seam. I plan posting every second day until the quilt is fully documented. I hope people enjoy the eye candy
