We, Deb and Marjolein, have admired that project ever since. Now we have decided to rush into this "Pebble Adventure".

Does anyone want to join us? We can share pictures and experiences here or provide links to blogs or flickr.

I'm not sure, I have had it on my blog for some time.  Blogger is part of Google, so it has been there for some time.  I don't know what happens if you use a different site.  It's not something I'm very up on

Dear all,

I've just uploaded a picture of my pebble onto my page. My calico was a little too thick to be easily manipulated around the cardboard, but I do like the overall result. I used appleton's wool, madeira silk, perlé and cotton a broder. Great fun to make!

I love the rusty bits fabric, Annet! It looks so earthy.  I really like the star you've added, too.  How will you encrust it?  I hope you keep us posted on your progress.

Oh I love the rusty fabric!!!  I was cleaning my sewing room today and found my rusted fabric, crying to be stitched on.  Now with your inspiration as well, I think my muse is telling me to get busy!

Jessica Grimm has posted a photo of her pebble on her page.  I got to her page, by going to members and doing a search for her name.  Please go over and see her pebble, but most importantly read why she stitched her pebble.  I still have tears in my eyes from reading about this lovely tribute.  If for no other reason.....this pebble stitching has produced a loving tribute to Jessica's grandma.  I feel so blessed that Jessica shared this with us.

I had problems with my time management. But now I have finished my third pebble. It is so funny to make these pebbles. Thanks to Debbie and Marjolien for the idea to start this pebble group and thanks to all for sharing your ideas and all these interesting photos.

Well....I have finally finished my 1st one!  It has ended up being a hoop art instead of a pebble.  Seven inches to be exact!I still have to finish the back of it but that is all that's left.  I have found me a little pebble that fits in the palm of my hand so the next one should go a lot faster.  Have thoroughly enjoyed this experience!  Thanks everyone for the photos and encouragement that you always give so freely.  This is such a great group of ladies (and men!)!
