Do you recognize this?

It is a free project from "Stitch" from some years ago, you can find it here: http://www.embroiderersguild.com/stitch/projects/encrustingcalico/i...
We, Deb and Marjolein, have admired that project ever since. Now we have decided to rush into this "Pebble Adventure".
Does anyone want to join us? We can share pictures and experiences here or provide links to blogs or flickr.

Thanks for the comments!!!

LOL Creepy crawling thing!!!!  We could do a pebble with bugs on it!

Deb

That would be a great idea! pebble bugs! Love it!

Cherrell,

We are delighted to have you join us.  There is no time limit at all.  Feel free to add your photos as often as you would like.  Some of us are working on pebble number 2, a few are on #3 and beyond.  The pebbles are a lot of fun to create.  I will tell you this, I don't look at my junk drawer the same way I used to.  Springs, beads, washers and just about anything else is now thought of as, pebble making materials.  Again glad to have you join us!

Deb

Here is the link to a cute tutorial I found on stitching moss covered rocks.  Could be cute added to our

pebbles.

Any color you would like to use!  Any threads, stitches, fabrics, fibers you are only limited by your imagination!

Deb

I love this pebble and i have also bookmarked it in the original guild blog!  I hope to do it very soon.

Cherrell, I made mine in turqoise.
Here is a picture of my first pebble, it is almost finished. There are more details on my blog: http://threads-and-patches.blogspot.com/

Oh I have a quick question... After looking at the project posted at beginning of thread, do we have to make it in neutral colors or can we be colorful and creative with it? Neutral is very pretty, but in my mind I see colors. :)  Thanks!

That's a great tutorial, thank you Deb!

Hello everyone,

Today when I was looking at several of my friends blogs I discovered the "Follower" button was gone and then I looked for mine and it was gone too.  Does anyone know what happen??  How sad that they all disappeared.  Hugs Judy

It's to do with the changes in Google.  I think it's now Friends Connect

Hello Jane,  If it is now google does that mean you have lost all your previous friends from over the years??  How do you get "Friend Connect"??  Thanks for the help Jane.  Hugs Judy
