Where can I buy these resources?
Stitching Fingers has allowed me to see so many beautiful pieces that have really encouraged me to expand my stitching. I am always looking for new resources and materials. I have seen so many things on French blogs that I would like to try but I do not know how to purchase the books and magazines. Can anyone help me?! I am very excited to try new things. Thank you.

Hi Rebecca, and welcome to SF. I notice you live in the US. I am in Australia, so really don't have any suggestions for shopping in your country, but the Internet helps greatly.
It would be helpful if you could suggest what type of work you are looking to do, and then perhaps some ladies may be able to recommend sites or shops close to where you live.
I live in rural Queensland, with nothing to offer in the way of threads and supplies, so I have mostly had to rely on mail/phone/internet ordering. I hope your enthusiasm never wanes, welcome to the ride!!!

Hi there Rabecca. Like Linda I don't live in the US but in South Africa. I have found that using the internet to purchase books and materials is sometimes the easiest. If you have a library nearby then that is a good place to look for resource books. As Linda mentioned let us know what kind of work you think you would be interested in doing. Hello, Rebecca, Yes it seems like being in a sweetie shop, so many goodies to try!
I would do a search on a couple of techniques or crafts that you like the sound of and see which authors' names come up. Amazon.com is a good site for books, as it enables you to 'see inside' some of them for a preview.

The big craft, embroidery, quilt and textile shows held all over in the US offer all sorts of supplies and you get to chat to the designers and crafts people who generally love sharing and can give good advice. Look for shows advertised in your area and spend a day or two at one - you will be amazed at what you see and learn!
