I want to use a light box to put a drawing on a blue t-shirt, but the only water soluble pens that I have found are light blue in color.  Is anyone familiar with water soluble pens that use a darker color like black, brown or dark blue?

Hi Karen,

try doing a search on line for chaco pens. I have a couple of those for use on silk, one in blue and one in brown. They wash out very well, in fact if I make a mistake I just run the silk under the tap wait or it to dry and start again.
The only supplier I know is in the UK - Midori Matsushima. But I do know Midori teaches classes in the US so she may ship there as well. http://www.midori-embroidery.com/

Hi Karen,
I've a pen which is teal and it is dark enough for me. Click here to see my trials with the pen
It is known by the name Marvy Le pen( Japan).
I got it from my Brazilian embroidery supplier in the U.S. Let me know if you want the details.
Hope this helps,
Deepa
