I love needlepainting (Long and Short stitch). I want to invest in a good laying tool.

I was thinking of Shar Pendray's "Best Laying Tool" but then a friend recommended getting a Japanese one (I'm sorry, I forget the Japanese word for it). But it's at least twice the price. I'm happy to pay - if it's worth it.

What do you recommend?

I've never learnt about mine. I can take more or less decent shots - being outside in the sunshine makes a huge difference. Not really close up ones.

I reckon that by the time I'm of grandparent age (I'm 40 now) the children will practically be non-understandable when they talk about computer/technology tools and applications with the  technology they'll have by then and us starting out with record and tape players. I can't keep up with all this Kindle, Ipod, Blackberry etc etc stuff now and I used to be a Software Engineer! :-)

Enjoy the 7Mb on taking photos! It might take *several* cups of tea.
