Jennie, I have just tried google and the very first choice was a site by the name of joyfulabode. Also have you tried Pintangle to see if Sharon has instructions. It is also illustrated in the book " A-Z of Embroidery Stitches". I hope this helps and is not seen as any form of advertising.
Thanks Susan i have done the one from joyfulabode and i get to step 8 and i get stuck....thats why i thought a Video would be better.
This is not a very detailed tutorial, but it might be another piece of the puzzle for you.

Shisha Stitch
Hi Jennie,

Even i had searched for tutorials in google but did not get a good one, in this sharon's instructions are easy to follow and i hope u find it easy to. http://www.pintangle.com/journal/2007/8/27/take-a-stitch-tuesday-we...
Looking on joyfulabode right now. Step 8 is basically a repeat of step 6 but when you loop it through the center of the mirror, make sure that your thread is underneath the needle. You just keep repeating those steps until you get all the way around the mirror. It isn't hard, but like tatting, it works better if someone can sit down & show you. It just takes a little practice.
Jennie, I am pretty sure that I saw a reference to shisha on Pintange. Sharons instructions are always so clear you may get over step 8...what does step 8 refer to
not easy to do.
i use a wire the shape of the mirror and crochet around it and use the resulting circle/square to hold the mirror down
the reply from Carole-anne is the best i have ever seen.
will try that one myself as i likeusing mirrors
I would like to say thanks to all of you for taking the time to help me out......i found JOYFULABODE the best and i can almost do it with my eyes shut now....lol...not really he-he

Hugs to you all Jennie xx
