I made my needlecase in 1996 from a pattern in a magazine, but I don't remember which one now. I used it until it started to come apart, so now I just keep it with other things that I have stitched. I use a plastic needle case that is large enough to hold my scissors and a few tools also. It has a magnetic strip to keep the needles arranged. And all my other needles are kept in the packages they came in until I am ready to use them. I used to slide this plastic needlecase in the pocket of the stitched needlecase but I guess that was too much for it.

Looks like I need to make a new needlecase just for my needles now.

Sorry I don't have a needlecase, do have lots of needles, but I do have a scissor case so can I join in funb with that :-)

Sue, that is a beautiful scissors case! Looks like it took a lot of work. I don't see why this wouldn't count, fine with me.

Wow. A lot of work went into that one.

I'm thinkng about making a needle case partially because of this thread and partly because I need to reorganise my rapidly growing stash of craft supplies. A pincushion has also been on the to do list for a while now.
Thank you Sharon for this wonderful idea of sharing our needlecases,. What a lovely assortment of new & old, elaborate & simple - all very charming. I enjoyed viewing them again this evening & am inspired to create another one for myself!
